In addition to the statutory liability insurance, ummadum carpools are covered by the VAV insurance in the event of permanent disability with up to 100,000 euros, and in the event of death with 10,000 euros per person free of charge. The prerequisite for this is that the app has access to your GPS data for the entire duration of the joint trip.
