You can collect up to 600 ummadum points (UP) per day. Once you have reached your daily limit, you must wait for the following day for your daily limit to reset.

All ummadum points that you have collected through your environmentally friendly activities belong to you and cannot expire.

If you use your mobility bduget for sustainable mobility, the mobility budget is converted into ummadum points after a successfully completed activity, which you can redeem at regional retailers or with vouchers at Spar, Hervis and OMV.
You can pay for your purchase at the local retailer with ummadum points partly or completely, depending on how many points you have already collected.

If you are in a community where you can collect ummadum points, you can already see how many points you will receive for this activity before you start it.

• After you have selected one of the activities for which you will receive points from your community and you have entered your destination, you will see your reward in addition to the distance and CO₂ savings.
• If you have already collected all the points for a challenge from your community or have already reached your daily limit of ummadum points to be collected, you will often see a trophy in place of the ummadum points. This means that your activity counts towards the #dabei challenge.
• If you have already reached your daily limit of activities to be collected for the #dabei challenge, nothing will be displayed in this area.

Using ummadum offers a variety of benefits that you receive from environmentally friendly activities:

• Rewards: Your communities can reward you with ummadum points for certain activities and tracks.
• Challenges: Take part in challenges, collect activities and receive prizes.
• CO₂ savings: Make your contribution to the climate visible and motivate others. With ummadum, you save 169 g of CO₂ per kilometre travelled - compared to a one-person car journey.
• Reward for offering a ride: You can receive ummadum points as a reward from your community for offering journeys. The amount and daily or weekly limits are set by your community.
• Distance: For the distance, the planned, sustainable distance to your destination is displayed.
• Mobility guarantee: If your driver cancels the journey, you can book a taxi to your destination free of charge.
• Reserved parking spaces: The community will provide you with a reserved parking space if you are travelling to the P&R location with at least 1 other passenger.

You can use the ummadum points you collect in a variety of ways:

• Redemption points: You can use the ummadum app as a digital wallet and use your ummadum points as a means of payment at redemption points

   2. Tap on Rewards in the bottom bar
   3. Under the “Redeem” category, you will see a list of redemption points where you can redeem your ummadum points. These are sorted by distance from you.
   4. Simply tap on the redemption point in the app to pay
   5. A QR code or barcode is generated, which you can scan at the checkout

• Vouchers: You can use the ummadum app as a digital wallet and use your ummadum points as a means of payment at redemption points

  4. Tap on the voucher you want to redeem your ummadum points for
  5. Tap on “Request voucher”

Your voucher will be sent to your email address within two working days.

ummadum points are the currency at ummadum. ummadum points can be collected through environmentally friendly activities. There are two ways in which you can collect ummadum points:

• You are in a community that offers challenges to collect ummadum points
• You take part in challenges in which you receive ummadum points if you achieve a certain ranking (e.g. the #dabei challenge)

ummadum points can be exchanged for vouchers, or you can use them to pay at ummadum partner redemption points.

The conversion looks as follows:

1 ummadum point = 0.01 euro
10 ummadum points = 0.10 euros
100 ummadum points = 1.00 euro

Wenn du für eine Aktivität keine ummadum-Punkte (UP) erhalten hast, kann dies unterschiedliche Ursachen haben. Die unten angeführte Übersicht beinhaltet die häufigsten Gründe: 

• Die Aktivität fand nicht im Rahmen einer Community statt
  • Deine Aktivität kann nicht mit ummadum-Punkten belohnt werden, wenn du dich nicht in einer Community befindest, die Herausforderungen zum Sammeln von ummadum-Punkten anbietet. Um zu überprüfen, ob deine Community ummadum-Punkte Sammeln anbietet, kannst du 1. die ummadum-App öffnen, 2. im oberen Eck rechts auf das Pokal-Symbol tippen. So gelangst du zum Übersichtsbereich all deiner Herausforderungen und weiterer Challenges. Hier kannst du nachsehen, in welchen Bereichen dir deine Community Vorteile bietet. Unter anderem siehst du hier auch, ob du ummadum-Punkte sammeln kannst. 

• Die Art der Aktivität wird nicht von deiner Community belohnt
  
  • Communities können darüber entscheiden, welche Aktivitätsarten sie mit ummadum-Punkten belohnen möchten. Wenn eine Community bspw. ausschließlich Ridesharing-Aktivitäten belohnt, wirst du für eine Aktivität zu Fuß keine Punkte erhalten. Genauere Informationen zu den jeweiligen Community-Richtlinien und Bedingungen findest du gleich in der Community-Beschreibung jeder Community, sowie im Bereich „Herausforderungen“, zu dem man über das Pokal-Symbol im oberen Eck, rechts gelangt.

• Aktivität wurde nicht an einem Community-Standort gestartet bzw. beendet
  • Damit sichergestellt werden kann, dass deine Aktivität im Rahmen der Community stattgefunden hat und beispielsweise zum Pendeln verwendet wurde, ist es wichtig, dass die Aktivität an einem Community-Standort gestartet oder beendet wurde. Stelle also sicher, dass du dich beim Starten einer Aktivität am Community-Standort befindest bzw. du als Zielort einen Community-Standort angibst.
    
    
• Du hast dein Tageslimit fürs ummadum-Punkte sammeln erreicht
  
  • Pro Tag hast du die Möglichkeit bis zu 600 UP zu sammeln. Wenn du die tägliche verfügbare Punkteanzahl erreicht hast, kannst du vorerst keine weiteren Punkte mehr sammeln. Warte auf den darauffolgenden Tag warten, damit sich dein Tageslimit wieder zurücksetzt. Das Tageslimit ist für jeden User und für jede Community gleich, unabhängig davon, in wievielen Communities du gerade Mitglied bist.
    
    
• Du hast alle ummadum-Punkte für den Monat gesammelt
  • Befindest du dich in einer Community, von der du ummadum-Punkte zum Sammeln erhältst, geschieht dies in der Regel monatlich. Sobald du alle ummadum-Punkte, die dir für einen Monat zur Verfügung stehen, gesammelt hast, kannst du auch keine weiteren ummadum-Punkte sammeln. Im darauffolgenden Monat erhältst du dann wieder erneut ummadum-Punkte, die du sammeln kannst. Um zu überprüfen, wie viele ummadum-Punkte du bereits gesammelt hast, tippe einfach im Dashboard auf das Pokal-Symbol im oberen Eck, rechts. Dort gelangst du in den Bereich „Herausforderungen“, wo du eine Übersicht der bereits gesammelten ummadum-Punkte erhältst. 
    
    
• Technische Probleme
  
  • Natürlich kann auch nicht ganz ausgeschlossen werden, dass eine Aktivität aufgrund von technischen Problemen nicht belohnt wurde. Hier erhältst du eine Übersicht, zu typischen technischen Problemen: 
    • Probleme mit dem GPS-Signal: Wenn dein Handy Probleme mit dem GPS-Signal während einer Aktivität hatte, kann es passieren, dass die ummadum-App nicht registrieren kann, wenn du bereits am Zielort angekommen bist. 
    • Die ummadum-App kann nicht im Hintergrund agieren: Viele Handys besitzen die Einstellung, dass standardmäßig keine Apps im Hintergrund aktiv sein dürfen. Nach dem Installieren der ummadum-App, wirst du gefragt, ob die App im Hintergrund aktiv sein darf. Um hier Probleme zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir „Immer zulassen“ auszuwählen.
    • Dein Handy befindet sich im Batteriesparmodus: Wenn der Batteriesparmodus auf deinem Handy aktiviert ist, kann dieser dafür sorgen, dass Apps, wie der ummadum-App, keine GPS-Signal mehr empfangen oder senden können. Außerdem kann der Batteriesparmodus auch Apps im Hintergrund drosseln, wodurch ebenfalls die Nachvollziehbarkeit deiner Aktivität ggf. nicht mehr gewährleistet werden kann. 

To pay with ummadum at a BILLA, BILLA PLUS, BIPA or PENNY shop using the ummadum points you have collected, simply follow the steps below:

1. Open the ummadum app
2. Tap on Rewards in the bar at the bottom
3. Select the shop you want to pay at
4. Show the barcode to the person at the checkout

The person at the checkout will perform the following steps

1. Switch to page 2 of the checkout screen
2. Tap the ‘MutliVoucher/ValueMaster’ field
3. Scan the ummadum barcode
4. Confirm the debit with [ENTER]
5. Done

If the invoice amount is higher than the voucher value, the remaining amount can be conveniently paid using another payment method.

If the cashier has not yet frequently used this method of redemption, assist him/her if necessary.
