How do I scan the QR code of a community?
For example, if your company has a community, it often communicates this by means of posters, flyers or by email. A QR code or an invitation code can be found on these information sheets.
To scan the QR code, simply follow these steps:
- Open the ummadum app
- Tap on “Communities” in the bottom bar
- Tap on “Find via code”
- Tap on “Scan QR code” at the bottom
The ummadum app will now ask you to give it access to your camera
- Tap either “When using the app” or “Only this time” to access the camera
- Now hold the QR code in front of your camera so that it fits into the frame.
If everything has worked, you should now land on the community page in the app. Here, you can see an overview of the most important information and benefits that you receive as a community member.
- Tap on the green “Join” button to join the community
To join a community, you must agree to its terms of use. The terms and conditions may vary depending on the community.
