Environmental partners of ummadum, e.g. municipalities and companies, form their own community. The members of a community receive a monthly mobility budget for climate-friendly mobility - to cycle, to walk or carpool. In the community description you can read which mobility types the respective community supports and who can join this community.
Find a community:
- Open the app and select "Communities."
- Scroll through the list or search specifically for your community
- If you already have a code or QR code, you can connect directly to the community. You can get the code from your employer, the company or the municipality that is an environmental partner of ummadum.
A user can be a member of several communities, but only of one community.
Your communities can organise challenges in which you can collect activities and receive prizes.
The criteria set by your community apply to collecting:
- Supported activity types
- Geographical specifications, e.g. for locations or in a specific region
- Time restrictions, e.g. on certain days
- Maximum number of activities, e.g. hourly or daily
Depending on your progress, you can receive prizes at the end of the challenge.
The conditions of participation and actual prize opportunities may vary depending on the community. You can find all information on this in the challenge description.
A community can be a company, a municipality, or an event organiser where you as a user can receive rewards for your environmentally friendly activities. Depending on the community, ummadum points can be collected through community challenges, for example, which can then be exchanged for vouchers or used to pay at redemption stores. Some communities also organise challenges where you can collect raffle tickets with your activities.
As a member of a community, you can enjoy many benefits! For example, you have the opportunity to collect ummadum points in monthly community challenges, which go straight to your virtual wallet. You can use these ummadum points to pay at redemption stores or exchange them for various vouchers.
In short: you are directly rewarded for your environmentally friendly activities!
In order to collect ummadum points for challenges, communities may require that you start or end your activity at the community location. You can find an overview of all community locations as follows:
- Open the ummadum app.
- Select an activity.
- Tap on the text field, “Enter destination address”.
In addition to your favourites and past destinations, you will also find all community locations listed. You may have to scroll down a little.
- Tap the desired community location and start your activity.
