How can I search for and request a journey as a passenger?

Here, you can find out how to search for and request a ride as a passenger:

1. Open the ummadum app
2. Select the “Ride sharing” activity
3. Click on the “plus” symbol at the bottom right
4. Select “Search for a ride”
5. Select the desired start and destination and the desired date
6. Tap on “Search”

If ummadum has found ride-sharing opportunities for you, you should now be shown drivers who will take you to your destination or cover part of your route.

The distance on foot to the pick-up point and from the drop-off point to your actual destination are displayed below in the form of a traffic light (green = near, orange = medium, red = far).

1. Tap on the search result that suits you
2. If necessary, you can now manually adjust the pick-up or drop-off location on the map by tapping on the “pencil” symbol
3. Press on “Request ride”
4. Check your booking details
5. Tap on “Book now”
6. Wait until the driver has accepted your ride request

Congratulations! You have successfully booked a journey.
